진행 소식만으로도 많은 사람들의 관심을 한 몸에 받았던 젝스키스의 신프로젝트의 베일이 드디어 벗겨졌다. 바로YG의 감성을 만난 젝스키스의 명곡들이 담긴 앨범, ‘2016 Re-ALBUM’이다.

 

 

큰 사랑을 받아왔던 그들의 수많은 노래들 중 엄선된10곡은‘Re-recording’, ‘Rearrange’, ‘Remaster’의 과정을 거쳐 ‘2016 Re-ALBUM’으로 재탄생하였다. 이미 수많은 히트곡들로 이미 실력을 증명해온 ‘YG PRODUCER TEAM’의 감각적인 편곡은, 기존곡에 대한 또다른 접근과 개성있는 해석을 통해 각 트랙에 새로운 숨을 불어넣었다.

 

 

젝스키스는 그간 그들의 대표곡으로 불려온 ‘커플’을 포함하여 ’기사도’, ’연정’까지 세 개의 타이틀곡으로 ‘2016 Re-ALBUM’을 선보인다.  이 외에도 시상식에서 화려한 퍼포먼스와 함께 선보였던 ‘COM’BACK’, 콘서트에서 선보이며 큰 사랑을 받았던 ‘학원별곡’ 등10곡의 히트트랙들은 ‘2016 Re-ALBUM’안에서 또 한번 새로운 기록을 쓰기 위한 채비를 막 마쳤다.

 

 

다시 뭉친 젝스키스의 첫 신호탄이 되었던 ‘세단어’를 보너스 트랙으로 수록하여 완성된 ‘2016 Re-ALBUM’은, 오랜 팬들에게는 특별한 선물이 될 것이며 젝스키스의 음악을 잘 몰랐던 이들에게는 젝스키스의 역사와 명곡을 재조명하게 만드는 계기가 되어줄 것이다.

 

 

SECHSKIES ‘2016 Re-ALBUM’은 IN TYPE과 OUT TYPE 2종으로 발매되며, 오는 11월 29일부터 예약판매를 시작하여 12월 06일 YG이샵을 비롯 전국 온/오프라인 음반 매장에서 만나볼 수 있다.
